Criminal Justice Support and Advocacy
Support Coordination
We provide alternative solutions to everyday problems. Our dedicated team is here to guide you through the complexities of support services, ensuring you receive the comprehensive assistance you deserve. From personalised support plans to connecting you with the right resources, we're committed to making the process easier and more efficient. We prioritise collaboration and advocacy.
Mentors
Our mentors work with individuals at all stages of life and ability supporting them achieve their goals. At the first visit the mentor will assess  your strengths and needs and write goals and plans together. From there on the mentor works with you on a regular basis supporting goal achievement. What this looks like is different for each individual.
Employment Services
You do not need to have SLES or DES funding to access our services. We provide capacity building skill development and training, employment related assessment and counselling and workplace assistance. Supports in employment is available under core supports. We also provide SLES and DES programs. ​
Bibliotherapy/Writing Therapy
Bibliotherapy is the use of books and stories to promote self-awareness, social skills, communication, language skills, reading, mental wellness and a sense of self. Individual and group sessions are available. ​
Creative Connections
An individualised program designed to foster a supportive environment. Participants engage in creative exploration, connect with their emotions, and develop valuable coping skills while enhancing communication and socialization through a variety of artistic mediums.
Adult Inclusitivity Social Group
A weekly social group for adults with special needs. Make new friends, engage in activities and enjoy morning tea.
Have you or an autistic family member/friend found themselves in trouble with the law. Orange Elephants Creative Minds provide professional support and advocacy in criminal justice matters. (please note we are not lawyers but can work with your lawyer to help them understand autism and get you the best outcome).
About Our Staff
All staff hold a Working With Children Blue Card (Qld) and are NDIS worker screened.

Therapists have personal experience, qualifications and degrees in Autism Studies, Creative Writing, Early Childhood Education, Lego-Based Therapy and Rhythm2Recovery African Drumming.
Our programs support and utilise the therapeutic skills of small businesses on the Gold Coast.
