Our program is designed to help individuals of all ages develop essential skills in personal care and social etiquette. Whether you're looking to improve your self-care routine or enhance your social skills, our program offers personalised guidance and support to help you achieve your goals.

What We Offer

Our program covers a wide range of topics, including body hygiene, skin care, hair care, nail care, hand and feet care, dental care, bathroom hygiene, presentation, verbal and non-verbal communication, and initiating conversation. We tailor our program to meet the needs of each individual, providing step-by-step guidance on important aspects of personal care.

Our weekly sessions are centered around a specific theme and offer a variety of therapeutic activities, including African drumming and creative mindfulness exercises, which aim to provide a calming and sensory-friendly environment for all participants. Additionally, each session includes guided self-care mentoring activities that incorporate personal care product samples. These samples are provided to participants and can be used at home for continued self-care.

We keep our groups small (no more than 10 participants) to ensure that we can attend to the needs of each individual and provide personalised guidance on social skills in a non-overwhelming setting. We welcome feedback and discussion throughout the program to adjust each session and help participants achieve their goals.

Our program is available both in-person and online, and fees are invoiced on a weekly basis to make it accessible for everyone. The cost per participant is $150 per week.

When and Where

Our weekly sessions are held on Wednesdays at 3:30pm - 5:30pm at our Tallebudgera Valley Studio. For those who prefer online participation, we offer a virtual option that can be accessed from the comfort of your home.

My daughter and I have been attending the Caring for Me Hygiene and Social Etiquette program. It is a safe place with a small group of young women working through different strategies on caring for themselves. It had not only been great for my daughter but also a good experience for us to do it together. It has given me resources that are helpful for her. The session finishes with some creative therapy which allows for the girls to get to know each other.

I really love the Caring for Me Journal we got on the first day. I really enjoy it, it’s fun to keep my mind busy and makes me feel calm and as if I can keep track of what I’m doing and put myself into a calm mindset when I’m feeling too overwhelmed. It’s got a heap of good activities and some good routine setters.
